How "Comprehensive" Are We?

That's actually a very good question to ask a plumber. Many like to say they are full-service plumbers, but what they really mean is they can take care of all the plumbing in a person's home. So while they certainly are full-service, they aren't really comprehensive. To be fair we aren't either. We don't work on residential swimming pools. That's a highly specialized branch of plumbing that we don't get involved in. We also don't usually do residential new construction. Commercial new construction: yes. Residential new construction: not really. Not unless you really, really want us to. Other than that though... let me think here for a second... yep, we do the rest of it.

If you've got a leaky faucet, we can fix that. If your garbage disposal is broken, we can fix that too. Toilet clogged... of course, give us a call. Is your basement sump pump not working? You can call us for that too. Broken water pipes... again, pretty obvious: call us. Broken sewer lines on the other hand, are a project some plumbing companies won't even take on, but are actually something of a specialty for us. We have a reputation, even among other plumbers, for being the fastest and the best at replacing sewer lines in the DC area. Hot water heaters are another specialty of ours. A.O. Smith, the world's largest manufacturer of hot water heaters, depends on our Plumberologists to service warranties on their State, Whirlpool and A.O. Smith brand heaters in the Washington DC area. We can also do commercial renovations, boilers and waste management systems.

Randy Baldwin founded Frugal Rooter in 2004, and today it is one of the fastest growing home services company serving the Washington DC region. Randy began his career as a plumber at the very bottom when he was 16 years old, digging new sewer and septic installations by hand in his native North Carolina. Since then he has served his country, serving for six years in the US Navy, where, by a strange turn of events, he ended up a plumber. After his time in the service he went to work for one of the largest plumbing companies in the world, where he quicklly rose to become their top performing plumber. When the time was right, he struck out on his own, and Frugal Rooter was born.
