That's actually a very good question to ask a plumber. Many like to say they are "full-service" plumbers, but what they really mean is they can take care of all the plumbing in a person's home. The plumbing under and outside a home, i.e. their sewer and water service lines, is often not within their capabilities. So while they certainly are full-service, they aren't really comprehensive.
To be fair we aren't either. There are a couple of plumbing specialties we actually don't do:
Other than that though... let me think about it here for a second...
At Frugal Rooter, we're not just plumbers. We're Plumberologists. Most of our technicians have literally decades of experience in the plumbing and drain industry. They also participate in a nearly continuous program education. Believe it or not, when you add it all up, most of our plumbers have the same level of education as your average psychologist.
The more experience you have solving problems, the faster you become at diagnosing them. Less time diagnosing problems means we can spend more time fixing them, while still finishing the job in less time. Better repairs done in less time means we can do more of them without having to budget for call backs. The combination adds up to less overhead for us and more savings for you.
We get our commercial customers back in businesses sooner. Our residential customers can take less time off from work, and have more time to take care of what's important. Either way, whether you're residential or commercial, our experience means less hassle for you, and more money staying in your pocket.
Randy Baldwin founded Frugal Rooter in 2004, and today it is one of the fastest growing home services company serving the Washington DC region. The story of the company, and its founder, is truly one of a man living the American dream. Of coming from humble roots, and through dedication and hard work, acheiving excellence and doing more for customers than anyone before.
Randy's story starts in North Carolina where, at age 16, he began his career as a plumber on the very bottom rung: digging new sewer and septic installations by hand. At 19, he left North Carolina to serve his country, spending six years in the US Navy, where, by a strange turn of events, he continued working as a plumber. After completing his tour in the service, he went to work for one of the largest plumbing companies in the world, where he quickly rose to become their top performing plumber.
In 2004, frustrated by the glass ceiling and a corporate culture that put profit ahead of quality customer service, he struck out on his own to found a plumbing company like no other. Frugal Rooter was born.
Working in the industry for as long as he had, Randy realized that there were three keys to making Frugal Rooter a successful plumbing and drain services company:
Today, these are the priciples which every Frugal Rooter Plumberologist brings with them to every home and business we service. That's why Frugal Rooter Plumbing and Drain has earned a regional reputation for quality, expertise, and unsurpassed customer satisfaction. It's also why the PHCC, an organization of plumbing professionals from around the country, has recognized Frugal Rooter as Virginia's Plumbing Contractor of the Year.
We know that finding and choosing the right plumber is a challenge. After all, there's so many of them out there all making the same claims of top quality service, well trained technicians, warranties and guarantees... How can you possibly know that we're the right company to call?
We know that. We know that our awards, testimonials and reviews are all just heresay until we're actually standing in your home or in your business. That's why it doesn't cost anything to have us come out and take a look. We don't give our estimates over the phone. We do them on-site, so we can tell you exactly what the problem is and what it'll cost to fix it, not a guess with a low-ball, "ballpark" idea. And we do that at no-cost. That's right: we'll send one of our highly qualified Plumberologists to your home or business and not charge you a dime* so you don't have to worry.
Just give us a call, let us take a look, and we will make you this promise. Not a guarantee, a promise. Our personal promise that we will earn your business, your referral and, above all, your trust.
The Plumberologist was prompt and on time for our appointment. He listened attentively to our exasperation at the problem we were continuing to have after two prior service calls. The Plumberologist was very patient, while his attitude was one of confident determination to fix the problem, no matter how long it took... and he did! He had our shower flowing like a waterfall and draining superbly before he left. My husband and I knew he was headed home to Maryland - from Woodbridge! - therein not getting home until late. The Plumberologist still maintained his glowing attitude. It was then that we realized the commitment and passion this man has for his profession; his professionalism, integrity and the enormous satisfaction of a job well done. It's rewarding to see and know that there are still those like Plumberologists in this world.
